| For this piece the assignment was to draw a shadow. Using an orchid branch I arranged a composition of organic shadows which were then drawn in micron pen and surrounded by a spiral motif background. Lastly, I washed a variety of earthy watercolor hues over the spiral designs to amp up the contrast and bring out the lovely shadow shapes. |
